🌊 Experience a rare deep wreck dive in crystal-clear Maldivian waters
Dive into maritime history with a unique exploration of the MV Maldive Victory wreck—once a 15,000-ton cargo ship that sank after hitting a reef near Malé in 1981. Now resting upright at 36 meters depth, this well-preserved wreck has transformed into a vibrant artificial reef supporting 18 coral species and 38 types of fish.
Since the late 1990s, the site has become a favorite among experienced divers, offering an exciting mix of history and marine biodiversity. The wreck is protected as a national heritage site and plays a key role in the Maldives’ underwater tourism.
Celebrate this underwater marvel during the annual MV Maldive Victory Wreck Day (February 12–14) hosted by Dive Club Maldives, inviting divers worldwide to experience this iconic dive.
