Start at 7:30 AM with a stock run alongside one of the cafe owners. They’ll explain tasks and answer questions.

Owners may vary in personality from friendly and relatable to temperamental, giving a realistic feel of small business life.

Breakfast is provided, either packed or sit-down at the cafe.

Cafe operations: Open the cafe, prep for the day, interact with staff and customers, or enjoy quiet time if preferred.

Random errands: Could include delivering stock to the other branch, meeting other cafe owners, or browsing books in the library.

End of day: Close the shop and enjoy dinner.
